WCR's adaptation of Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol can be heard again on New Year's Eve afternoon.

Funday in the Park

Join members of the WCR team in Warminster Park this Sunday (8 September) between 1200 and 1700 for Funday in the Park.  WCR will be one of many organisations present, with lots of entertainment and stalls.

Due to technical failure, WCR's online streaming service is currently unavailable.  We are working to rectify the fault and hope that the service will be operational again very soon.

Warminster Festival Consultation Show

This Saturday Community Chest will be broadcasting a special edition, live from the Civic Centre.  The Warminster Festival Committee are seeking guidance from the public about the desirability of a festival in 2014.  The organisers are keen to gauge public opinion about the event, including whether one should be held and how it should be funded.  They also want to gather suggestions for artists, events and venues to make the event a unique one for Warminster.

You can fill in the questionnaire at www.warminsterfestival.co.uk, visit the Civic Centre between 10am and 2pm on Saturday or call Community Chest between 9am and 10am.

The show will also contain the usual Pause for Thought and Doctor's spot, this week dealing with rotovirus and infectious diarrhoea.

Community Chest - 20th July

Community Chest this Saturday will be presented by Barry Mole.  The show will include the usual Pause for Thought at 0920 and an interview with Councillor Jamie Cullen.  He will be discussing his proposal to create a Youth Council in Warminster.  If you have a question for Councillor Cullen, Independent representative for Warminster Broadway, then e-mail chest@wcrfm.org.uk or phone on 01985 846111.  Community Chest broadcasts each Saturday morning between 9am and 11am.

Corton and Boyton Village Fete

WCR will be in attendance at the Corton and Boyton Fete this Saturday from 2pm.

Community Chest

This Saturday's Community Chest will be presented by Andrew Robinson.  Eva Burton will Pause for Thought and Dr Lindsey Kinlin will be discussing skin cancer.  At 1020, the programme will broadcast the children from Sutton Veny Primary School who performed a concert in the Chapel of St Lawrence on Wednesday evening.
